It is the mission of the Wellington Veterinary Hospital doctors and staff to provide progressive, high quality veterinary medicine and surgical services to our clients and their pets. We will work as a team in providing professional and compassionate care to improve quality of life of the animals presented to us and to strengthen the human animal bond. In order to fulfill this mission we will hire only qualified staff who share the same standards of professionalism and compassion towards every client and their pet that enters our hospital. At a minimum, during office hours, every client will have one qualified veterinary technician, one veterinary assistant, and one client service representative to assist with their needs. One veterinarian will be on premise or on call and within 10 minutes of the hospital.

American Animal Hospital Association Certification:
Wellington Veterinary Hospital has acquired certification becoming among the 15 percent of animal care facilities in the nation certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is the world’s leading association of small animal practitioners. To achieve AAHA distinction, our hospital must pass comprehensive inspections of our veterinary practice, management, facilities and medical equipment. To keep up with the growing wealth of knowledge in veterinary care, our veterinarians and support staff participate in continuing education and training on a regular basis. We will continue to meet AAHA’s rigid standards to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care.

2012 Practice of the Year
Wellington Veterinary Hospital named as the Practice of the Year by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in March 2012. The goal of the AAHA-Accredited Practice of the Year award is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of accredited practice teams. Each entry was evaluated on their most recent accreditation score, mission and vision, practice design, practice team composition, continuing education and training, community service, and compliance improvement efforts.
